Thirteen weeks out from the IronVenus tri...
Got two friends interested, so we're going for the relay.
I need to get on the bike... I keep making excuses about being in school AND working, and that it's okay for me to be tired at the end of these long days...
I'm not a morning person... I've heard - and really like - recommendations of not making developing a new routine any harder than it needs to be: don't plan to make yourself get up an hour early four days a week if you already roll out of bed after hitting the snooze three times; don't plan to give up sodas AND sweets AND bedtime snacks, but rather cut back here and there - and find alternative "treats" for yourself (an extra tv show before bed, buy a new pair of shoes, etc.).
That being said, I don't want to get up super early to get in workouts... but I keep making excuses about why it's okay for me to not want to work out after work...
Perhaps the motivated boyfriend, who's up early some days anyway, can help sway me to stick to his schedule: up early, to bed a bit earlier... and then I can be a bum when I get home from these long days. Plus, I'll start the day with an adrenaline kick!
We'll see how it goes...
